CHILDREN AT FBC CARTHAGE
At FBC Carthage, we love children—and we want them to know that Jesus loves them even more! Our age-appropriate classes help kids learn God’s Word while enjoying fun, engaging activities. We’d love to welcome your child into our Children's Ministry!
NURSERY
Our nursery is available for children from birth through three years old during both the Sunday School hour and the worship service. Your little ones will be cared for in a safe and loving environment.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children’s Church is offered for ages 4–7 during the worship service. Kids will explore the Bible through engaging lessons, be encouraged to live out their faith, and learn how to share it with others. Additional children’s programs are available through the 6th grade and are designed to reach and engage kids at every stage.
AWANA
Our AWANA program meets Sundays at 5:15 PM in the Christian Life Center, with a meal served at the start. Open to ages 3 through 6th grade, with serving roles for youth, AWANA helps kids build a strong spiritual foundation through Bible lessons and scripture memory. New families are always welcome! EVENTS
Our Children’s Ministry hosts exciting, family-friendly events throughout the year to help kids connect, learn, and have fun! Highlights include block parties, game nights, gym fun, VBS, Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Program, and Talent Nights, all designed to encourage faith and friendships in a joyful, welcoming environment.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
KATIE DENNEY
Katie grew up in Smith County and is married to Grant. They have two sons and one daughter. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from Tennessee Tech, as well as an Ed.S in educational administration from the University of the Cumberlands. She taught middle school for nine years before deciding to stay home with her children. She now serves as our Children’s Ministry Director where she hopes all children who attend our church learn how much Jesus loves and cares for them.
